Abiraterone, a medication that is part of the class of medicines known as androgen biosynthesis inhibitors, is present in Zecyte 500 Mg. In adult men, Zecyte 500 is used in conjunction with prednisone or prednisolone to treat anti-cancer that has metastasized to other body parts.
Zecyte 500mg is also used to manage the early stages of prostate cancer when androgen deprivation therapy and prednisone are used in affected individuals. Zecyte 500 Mg is not recommended for patients allergic to abiraterone. It is also not advised for usage in those with advanced liver disease.
Before taking Zecyte 500 Mg Tablet, tell your doctor if you have high blood pressure, any other cardiovascular problems, swelling of feet, ankles, or legs, diabetes, lung problems, heart problems, or kidney and liver problems.
The use of Zecyte 500 Mg is not recommended for pregnant and lactating women as it is intended for use in male patients only. While taking Zecyte 500, male patients should use adequate contraception to avoid exposure of their female partners to this medication.
