Clopicard 75 Mg contains Clopidogrel which belongs to the group of medicines called Antiplatelets. Clopicard 75 Mg is used to treat blood clots caused by atherothrombosis, which can cause atherosclerotic events in people with atherosclerosis and atherothrombotic events such as heart attacks or strokes. In patients having percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), it is also utilized to address in-stent restenosis.
Platelets are little blood components that form clusters when blood clots. Antiplatelet medications lessen the likelihood of blood clots developing by controlling this clumping (a process termed thrombosis).
