Nailrox Nail Lacquer 5 ml contains Ciclopirox, which belongs to the group of medicines called skincare. In individuals with a normal immune response, it is used to treat mild to severe fungal infections of the fingernails and toenails without involving the nail lunula, the white half-moon of the nail.
Before using Nailrox Nail Lacquer 5 ml, let your doctor know if you have any of the following conditions: HIV infection, nail infections, psoriasis, edema, breathing disorders, diabetic neuropathy, or insulin-dependent diabetes, fits, a history of immunosuppression, or any of the above.
Women who are nursing should use Ciclopirox with caution and only if it is deemed necessary during pregnancy. 12 years of age and up can safely use Nailrox Nail Lacquer 5 ml, while senior patients over 65 should use it with caution.
Erythema, or redness, of the proximal nail fold, and periungual erythema are the most frequent adverse effects of using Nailrox Nail Lacquer 5 ml. Please consult your doctor before using it.
