Dorzox Eye Drop 2% is a prescription medication primarily used to lower intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.
Uses of Dorzox Eye Drop 2%:
To reduce elevated intraocular pressure in eye care:
- Open-angle glaucoma
- Ocular hypertension
Work of Dorzox Eye Drop:
Dorzolamide inhibits the enzyme carbonic anhydrase, which reduces the production of aqueous humor (the fluid in the eye), thereby lowering intraocular pressure.
Dosage & Administration:

One drop in the affected eyes 2 to 3 times daily

Always follow your ophthalmologist’s instructions.
Wait at least 10 minutes before using any other eye medication.
Side Effects:
- Burning or stinging in the eye
- Blurred vision
- Bitter taste in the mouth
- Eye pain or swelling
Precautions:
Not recommended in patients with sulfonamide allergy
Caution in patients with kidney problems
Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface to prevent contamination
